The WaterFoundation takes care of broken water pumps in Tanzania.
As a result, 4000 people will have access to clean water again. And sustainably: MSABI – our local partner – will not only repair 20 pumps, but keep them in working order in the long term as part of a maintenance service. To promote the acceptance of this innovative model, the rehabilitated water points will receive the maintenance service free of charge for the first six months. After that, the service can be subscribed to for a regular fee.
In addition, the WaterFoundation provides training for 20 Pump for Life mechanics. The “field team”, which travels to the remote villages on motorbikes, will also include three women!
