Board member Dr. Beate Grotehans finally is relieved: After a few logistical surprises and challenges, the 14 fog collectors shipped in December 2019 have survived their long journey from Hohenbrunn in Bavaria to the highlands of Bolivia and have arrived in Vallegrande.
The cargo was received by director Adalid Salazar Garcia from our cooperation partner ICO (Instituto de de Capacitación del Oriente), who is pleased that the materials are now ready for use on site. However, the assembly planned for April 2020 will have to be delayed because the restrictions caused by the corona virus also affect the travel plans of the Water Foundation’s assembly team.
