Transparency
The Foundation is committed to the principles of transparency and openness. That is why we have joined the Transparent Civil Society Initiative (ITZ) and signed a voluntary commitment. The ITZ was launched by Transparency International Germany in June 2010 to increase transparency in the civil society sector. The WaterFoundation makes the following information available to the public and will keep it up to date:
- Name, year of establishment, seat and postal address of the organization
- Complete statute, together with information on aims, principles, values and criteria governing eligibility for support
- Most recent certificate of tax exemption with date (November 20, 2023)
- Names and functions of key decision makers
- Acitivity reports
- Personnel structure
The members of the Board of Trustees work on a voluntary basis. Two board members are employed on a mini-job basis, one board member works on the basis of an employee.Three of the team members are employed on a mini-job basis, one team member works as an employee.
- Source and use of funds
- There are no corporate relationships.
- There are currently no major donations from private individuals exceeding 10 percent of the total budget.
