Ethiopia

On 17 April 2018, the WaterFoundation handed over 50 donkeys to families in Woliso in the Ethiopian district of Oromia. It was once again a great event. The women are grateful that from now on they will be able to fetch the drinking water available far away from their huts with the help of the pack animals.

Thanks to Pastors Yemaneberhan and Demeke of the Ethiopia Gospel Deliverence Church and their helpers, who spent several weeks buying donkeys at markets, bringing them to the distribution point, supplying them and also organizing and carrying out the distribution and registration with a celebration.
