Ethiopia

Carl-August Graf von Kospoth (*1965 in Ethiopia) and his family have regularly donated to projects in Ethiopia. Graf von Kospoth died in October 2017.

The bereaved have donated a large amount of money to supply the approximately 350 inhabitants of the village of Akobbe Ager – located about 170 km northeast of Addis Ababa. In memory of the deceased, it will be possible to install the catchment and capping of two springs at approx. 3,600 metres above sea level and the laying of over 3,000 metres of water pipes to a central tank with taps.

Thanks to the commitment of the local population, who carried out the strenuous digging work in the rocky surrounding area, the project was successfully completed in September 2018.
